Rav Yochanan Perlow, the sole survivor of his siblings, arrived in Chaifa in 1946 from the Feldafing DP Camp. Bearing the decimated Karlin-Stolin dynasty, he rebuilt the Chassidus in Eretz Yisrael and Williamsburg. A gifted composer, his legacy emphasizes achdus (unity). He passed in 1955; his body was found unblemished before his reburial in Tiberias. His quiet leadership restored hope to survivors.
